Welcome to Mushroom Cup
We’re big believers in mushroom coffee.
Not because it’s trendy, because it genuinely works.

Your honest guide to mushroom coffee.
Hi, I’m Claire.
I started drinking mushroom coffee because regular coffee wasn’t agreeing with me the way it used to.
I still loved my morning coffee, but I could do without the jitters and the afternoon slump that sometimes came with it.
After trying a few alternatives, mushroom coffee became part of my regular morning routine.
And, naturally, I started asking a lot of questions.
- What exactly is lion’s mane?
- Why are chaga and reishi showing up in coffee?
- How much caffeine is actually in these drinks?
- Does mushroom coffee really taste like mushrooms?
- And which of the claims surrounding these ingredients are actually supported by research?
That curiosity eventually became Mushroom Cup.
Why I Started Mushroom Cup
Mushroom coffee sounds simple until you start comparing products.
One brand might contain coffee, lion’s mane, and chaga.
Another might include several mushroom extracts, cacao, collagen, or other ingredients.
Caffeine levels can also vary quite a bit.
Mushroom Cup was created to make all of that easier to understand.
My goal is to give you straightforward information about mushroom coffee so you can figure out what you’re drinking and which products might be a good fit for you.

I’m interested in what these products are actually like, not just what the packaging promises.
When research is limited, I’ll say so.
And when something is based on personal experience rather than scientific evidence, I’ll make that distinction clear.
